Our Impact

Of the 41,000 Veterans in New Zealand today, 30,000 have served since the end of the Vietnam War – three quarters of our Returned population.

Howick RSA has been a cornerstone of the local community, bringing together veterans, families, and friends to honour our past, celebrate our present, and shape our future.

How we get involved

You don’t have to be an Howick RSA member or have served overseas to get advice and support from us.
We are here to assist all service people and their loved ones.

Community Welfare

We also work alongside the Poppy Fund Trust and the Community Trust, which provide grants to support the wider community.

Honour &
Support

We honour our veterans with Anzac Day ceremonies and provide welfare support to those who have served.

Welfare
advice

We are here to assist members in times of need with information and advice; for example about welfare and pensions.

Social Sections

From golf and fishing to our women’s section, there’s always something to get involved in at Howick RSA.

Our Impact in Action

At Howick RSA, our impact is measured not just in years but in the lives we touch, the memories we honour, and the community we build. Each figure reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting veterans, fostering camaraderie, and creating a welcoming space for all.
